So today is my 3rd day of no lectures. Also known as sitting ont he internet, procrastionating, and every so often actually reading lecture notes.
Actually thats kind of a lie, I've been doing all teh planned revision (and not skim reading either!), so I think it's fine. Even if I do finish at about midnight at earliest *cough*. Oh well.

So far it hasn't started to affect my sanity like last time. Last time I wrote this:

Characters: Lots and Lots of PROTEINS (don't you just love them?). Also DNA.

The Tragic Story of the Bad/Bax/Bid gang and the Cell Village.

Once upon a time there was a place calld Cell village where the DNA people and the protein people all lived happily together in peace. However there was an evil gang called the Bad/Bax/Bid gang who hated the village and wished for the village to be destroyed.

So they formulated a plan. The bad, being rather bad, decided that that it would invade the village prison and kill the good, kind Soldier (A) Bcl-2. Bcl-2 had been doing a noble job of keeping the monster Cytochrome cs within the jail, but with Bcl-2 dead, they quickly begin to escape. Bax, who was a rather impatient fellow, decided that this whole evil plot wasn't happening quick enough, and began to smash up the prison bars in order to help the Cytochrome c monsters escape quicker!!....oh no!!!!

Meanwhile demon Apaf-1 and the demon Procaspase 9 were playing a childrens CARD game in the centre of the village for no adequetly explored reason, and they summon a cytochrome c village directly into the Cell village centre to form the gundam APOPTOSOME!

What? Procaspase 9 is evolving? .......Congratulations! Your Procaspase 9 evolved into CASPASE 9!!!

Caspase 9 then uses it's power to awaken the Evil Lord caspase 3 from its slumber within procaspase 3....

DEATH TO CELL VILLAGE!!!!!

But what is the secret to Caspase 3's power? Well it is able to use the super special awesome attack: ICAD CLEAVAGE POWER!! (TM) which uses the precurser ICAD to form the CAD-ray (which is like a ray gun only better) which it uses to destroy all the DNA people, and all the cytosolic protein people, and all the nuclear protein people too....:(

BUT ALL HOPE IS NOT LOST!!!!!! If the archangel Trophic Factor learns of this evil plot it is able to descend from heaven and can gather its forces!!! It awakens the Hero of Cell P13 Kinase which uses the all powerful attack: Akt(PKB)!!!!

This attack ties up the bully Bad and throws it into the depths of 14-3-3, and it is therefore unable to attack the good and noble Bcl-2!!!

However, the archangel Trophic Factor is unaware of the uprising from outside the Cell Village! FasL, who has great envy of the Cell Village, has decided that it has had enough of the DNA and protein people of cell village and joins forces with Fas. Fas and FasL use their money and influence to form the DISC: a chimera formed from the FADD monkey and the Procaspase 8 cat!

The DISC chimera quickly sends out an army of Caspase 8!!! Caspase 8 alone is enough to provide Caspase 3 with enough power to attack with ICAD CLEAVAGE POWER!!!(TM) to form the CAD-ray!

But that is not the only power of the Caspase 8s!! Caspase 8 also provides support to Bid, the last member of the Bad/Bax/Bid gang, in its mission to carry out Leader Bad's last wish. Bid, who is somewhat of a coward, lies in wait until Soldier (A) Bcl-2 draws close! Then it removes it's disguise and revelas it's true form: tBid!!! Soldier (A) Bcl-2 is killed and the cytochrome c monsters are released!!

Finally it attacks with: EXECUTIONER CASPASE 7 attack!!!!

Cell Village has died.

Game Over.

I got full marks on the question on apoptosis, in case you were wondering. I kind of ran ideas by the end of the story. In case you were wondering why I was posting this, it's called procrastionation. Deal with it xD
